With essentially the same roster....where was this team last year?
Minus Sanchez and Samson, there's a camaraderie and cohesiveness on this year's team that was lacking last year.
Gotta give Marillac some credit where it is due man.

Everything that he predicted is happening before our eyes, and it just so happens everyone killed him for that prediction. That post you said about sanczhes and Sampson he said a million times during preseason
Great response by this team after the Obepka ejection!! Great to see Rysheed hitting his outside shots with more consistency than he had been and very good game by him all around with the exception of one or two forced passes. Dom, what can you say, Highlight reel dunks, solid defense and rebounding. He's be a next level player if he could only develop a consistent jumper. D-Lo was his usual workhorse self, great game by him. Greene was ok today but we didn't need him to be anything but technically sound today on both ends. Christian Jones actually pulled down a couple of rebounds in traffic today which was a good sign.
The only negative was the lack of maturity by CO with the technicals. Thank God he will not miss the St. Mary's game. Also, Dom's second foul where he grabbed the Fordham guys leg was poor judgment. He had to sit the rest of the half. Against a better team that could of hurt us. All in all a great effort considering everything. I just want to see more discipline from this team when it comes to controlling their emotions. Great game otherwise!!
Wasn't that Otis who predicted that? With essentially the same roster....where was this team last year?

Some interesting observations regarding the Fordham game:http://www.bigeastboards.com
Absolutely...he is done...frankly I dont see how Pascal went there...he is too good...bad advicePecora did me a solid this year, so I wish nothing but the best for him. He's a Queens Village guy, and it would be great for NYC bball if Fordham can develop into a formidable team during his tenure.
I get the feeling that this team is focused and hungry right now, and there will be no mental breakdowns or taking anything for granted. After last season, I think they know that if there's a letdown, they can be upset. Hoping we come out strong early, and don't let up.
That time has come and gone. He will be updating his resume shortly.
Good win. Team has grown up a lot. Being very patient on offense settling for open looks.
Very disappointing antics by CO. Seems like every game we're getting into some unnecessary scrum.
Don't know what CO is trying to prove by shoving players like he does. But I did think the first tech was on D'Angelo, not CO.
I was impressed with the team today. What was even more impressive was Mike Maher showing in full SJU gear. He puts Lavin to shame.

And a beautiful woman!
