Find Me 11 Big East Wins

I agree that Amar could be a good contributor. Heck, he's contributing already.

But you guys sound like Kobe deriding American basketball and focusing on how skill development is so much better in Europe. There's a grain of truth to that, but it's also vastly overstated.
Europeans are rarely exposed to physical play or the level of competition you see at even the average high school level here.
Ball movement and shooting look pretty until you face an athletic defense that bumps you and pushes you off the position you want.

Alibegovic plays like a bouncer at a bar right now. If anything, he needs to ease up on his physicality. You can can call his fouls from sitting in the upper level of MSG.

My point wasn't that good ball movement is overrated, I'd love for our team to play like the Spurs!

Just that the grass isn't always greener on the otherside. European players aren't necessarily raised/developed better than American players.

And I LOVE that

Every time he has entered a game he committs a foul within 60 seconds. That being said he should have been in the game against Nova instead of playing 5 guards in the 2nd half.

Amar should be physical. He's never gonna play more than 6-7 minutes this year, why not use your fouls???

Better than the big man laying it in on us, make them earn it at the line, and fwiw providence ended up doing terrible from the line

Moose president of the Amar fan club.

I think he will play a nice role over the next few years.

I'd hope alittle more like 10-15minutes a game. I think the kid has some skills.
