They closed their Queens office a few months back.

I really hope they rebound from bad days. All the remaining print media in Queens will spring from Rupert Murdoch and James Dolan.

Sorry to hear that. Many good journalists have been chased out of the newspaper business in recent years, but their skills are still valuable outside the traditional newsroom.

I haven't touched a newspaper since I got my first ipad. That is the reality facing print journalism. The unfortunate thing is that online journalism is pretty crappy. Two or three paragraphs, filled with grammatical errors, substitutes for real writing.

Wow that's a bloodbath. Roger was good. Sad that papers are in such decline with the internet and things like craigslist taking away the classifieds business.
