(EXHIBITION) Towson, Sat., Oct. 18, 2p, ESPN+

The positives to me are that the defense is ahead of where I thought it'd be at this point. Maybe I was just personally underrating Hopkins defense coming into this season but he was very good on that end today and that's huge for us. Sanon, Sellers, and Jackson seemed to be learning how to use their athleticism on that end as well. We'll see how it looks vs Michigan before fully buying in.

Offense was obviously pretty meh but the ceiling for that to corrected is much higher and Zuby might not play that bad again all season. The PG concerns weren't eased at all today though

Most significant part of this game is marillac has incredibly already identified the player he’s gonna pick on all year.

Dillon Mitchell I’d stay off the internet this year buddy 😂

There might actually be a better chance he becomes my favorite player. I put defense, rebounding, and hustle above everything.

If he wreaks havoc on the glass, plays mostly inside, and cuts relentlessly we will be fine. If he’s going to be dribbling full speed 10x a game, we will have issues. Those are Lavin PF flashbacks.
