I understand the idea of him drawing defender out. IMO I think the help defender that has to constantly know what and where Hopkins is going is the bigger advantage. Not to mention Hopkins is right there if not better than Ayo as a shooter.

I don't disagree but sometimes you need that guy that just wants to hang out in the corner and shoot 3s while wide open. Shooting a 3 is Hopkins' last resort it seems like

Lol there is a noticeable drop off from our defense from last year. Not fretting over it because it's October and it'll get more crisp, but it's nowhere near where it was at the end of last season nor should anyone expect it to be yet

It’s really, really hard to watch without caring about the score. My head says let Pitino experiment but my heart says beat Michigan.

But this team has pieces and Rick coaches to peak in February/March. Very excited
