And , I still say , Exhibition is a word . Applying it to a game where it was played in MSG, at regular prices , Vs a top 10 team , with real referees and a Scoreboard keeping score , is just a word ? . And. 13,000 plus fans rooting hard . As the game progressed , did those in attendance continually shout, “ It’s only a Exhibition game ?”
Yes, it doesn’t count in the Won/ Loss column but , it wasn’t like Pitino or May weren’t trying to win .
Was it a barometer of things to come for this team ? We don’t know .
