Once again St John’s is tasked with an unfair challenge:

Winning a basketball game to help me back off the ledge after a horrid jets loss.

And if USA loses today I’m gonna be halfway off the ledge by the time we tip off tonight. SPORTS!

Not a Jets fan Jack but I watched the end of the game yesterday with my son. Knowing the history with the Patriots I turned to my son before the punt and said “the Jets just need to kick this out of bounds and they’ll go to OT”. No sooner were the words out of my mouth and the guy was streaking toward the end zone. It was pretty unbelievable. The look on Saleh’s face…Hopefully, we get you a better result today!

I was thinking same thing. Nyiwe is very importantly defensively. He's our best defensive big and a guy that can switch and stay in front of his man, there's no other big on the team that can give you what he brings. As far as Pinzon, I think he's a better ball handler than Storr for sure, but Storr gives you better shooting, more athleticism, and a bigger frame on the defensive end.

I think the best chance we have to keeping Brandan Gardner is give Storr minutes if he is productive. Show that solid freshmen can get burn at St. John's and not just be projects.

Just an FYI Gardner signed last week so we have reason to think about keeping him.
 
This is some of the worst journalism I ever read. Who from CBS wrote this...

The Temple Owls will take on the St. John's Red Storm at 9:30 p.m. ET Monday at Barclays Center. Temple isn't favored, but they just beat the odds in their last game, so don't count them out.

So, if I read this correctly, the team that's not favored is expected to win the game handily, but don't count the other team out. And the team that's expected too lose handily, don't count them out either???

Shouldn’t have to prove it Anderson has given freshman minutes since he’s been here.

For me I have a layover visit from an Uncle who expects to be taken out to dinner so I may have to DVR the game and watch when I get home, if I get out of my meeting in time to pick up said Uncle at LAX.
