UNLV transfer Dwayne Morgan will visit St. John's officially the last weekend in September, per source. #sjubb

There are some things that feel more done than others. This feels like a done deal to me.

No thanks. Think we can do better.

Not much time to fill Wilson void, so I am ok with this. He can rebound & gives us another player on a thin roster.

Exactly zero downside to getting Morgan and possible good upside. Kid has played 2 seasons already and is battle tested and ready to play from day 1 That he sets foot on campus. I would be very happy if he commits to SJU for a year and a half.

I would be glad to have him. Reminds of a Yawke but a better rebounder. Really important to keep from him taking jumpers. Just rebound and finish.

Not at this point we can't. He will add decent sized and depth for a year and a half.

I agree! Bigger and a stronger rebounder than Sid Vicious. Has D1 experience and pinch me, the kid actually went to class. Let's hope he actually stays on track to graduate and commits.

Didn't realize he'd be eligible for this season, which could prove to be helpful. But aren't thrilled about giving away a schollie just fill out a thin roster.

So you would rather be short handed than give away a ship for a year and a half to a guy who graduated on time , has good skills, is capable of contributing immediately and hopefully would add senior leadership to a thin roster that is a serious front court injury away from a disaster ?
Not me , I pray he comes on board.
By the way I liked the mix tape and really liked the fact that the kid stayed off social media for a while and says he cut the grass and worked out over summer. Sounds like he is remorseful. A rarity with kids today.

not for this season unless SJU wants to recruit a SJU Alum who is 6 ft 4 irish financial advisor who is willing to take some no show classes

we need to win now and if he gives us another big body I'll take him for a short term situation with limited downside

Plus we have a lot of transportation options so I'm not worried about another taxi can confession situation

Geez! Looks like I'm taking a beating on this one. :(

Maybe I'm still suffering from post-Sidney-Wilson stress disorder and not seeing things as clearly as I should. Whatever. Bottom line: whatever the staff decides is good enough for me.

Hey you never know, you could be right and everyone else wrong.

Wish you had been my analyst when I was going through therapy. I'd be a different man today. :)

I think it's only a one year commitment. Otherwise the scholie goes unused.
