St. John's guard Rasheem Dunn, a fifth-year senior, tells me he hasn't really thought about next year, but he is open to returning. Said school  has been really good to him.

will be an interesting offseason to say the least.

If he wanted to come back, and staff as well, that means someone would have to definitely go as it would put us at 14.   Likely candidates, but hopefully no unexpected surprises that send us backward.

During last game, announcer said CMA considers Dunn a leader of the team.   Hoping he returns.

Not how it works, teams will be allowed to go over scholly limits to keep guys utilizing the exception.

Thanks Mase... knew exta year available individually, but didn't realize they were allowing roster expansion assuming school can fund the extra costs.

Smart kid, class act, team leader, playing within himself, etc etc etc. Would love him back.

If Dunn came back, I think it might put pressure on McGriff returning.  Will definitely be an interesting offseason but hopefully not too interesting.  Wanna keep our best guys in place.

He has far and away the best blow-by speed of anyone on the roster.

I hope he comes back too.

I’d say you’re right, he’s got the best, but Posh can’t be too far behind anybody.

In all fairness to Dunn, as hard as he plays, after a big play or even a mistake, he is under control. Same for Champ, Williams, Earlington and most others, with the exception of Moore. Credit to CMA on this.

Less of a potential problem for Anderson than it would be for some - he's happy to divide minutes in order to keep fresh legs on the court for the pressure D

The two are giving opposing backcourts fits right now. Imagine what they can do together next year? Maybe as physical and athletic a backcourt as we've ever had.  Our version of Batman and Robin, although I'm not sure which one is which.

Rasheem Dunn said a key against Villanova is not over-helping. They can also shoot and create. St. John's has to be able to defend one-on-one.

St. John's guard Rasheem Dunn on Villanova: "There will be no fear factor." Said Wildcats are a "great team," but #sjubb is excited about the challenge of facing No. 3 team in country.

Kid is confident without being cocky. Love it!

I’ve really enjoyed these two together over last 6 games after pretty much being completely against them as a tandem prior. Posh’s ability to keep teams honest from 3 (10-25) and Dunn’s recommitment to getting to the rim (25 FTs vs 8 the six games prior) has made it work on offense. And as you said, their defense has excelled. Maybe best part is I’m not sure who is the point guard out there, they’ve seemingly figured out how to play together.

Will be interesting to see CMA shuffle GWill back into the guard rotation. Don’t think Greg will have trouble with it but some guys will have to lose minutes.

If he comes back, he needs to work on his jump shot. Developing just a mid range jump shot opens up his drive so much more
