D'LO

even if D-Lo wasnt good enough to make the list, all our fealrless leader would have to do is make a few phone calls to the people at The Wooden Award and let them know that he was John Wooden's star pupil...Slick has so much juice when it come to John Wooden they would probably put ADR on the list and he isnt even eligible!...at least thats what Slick likes to tell us

I take it you don't like Lavin?

Let's try to keep this thread on topic. There are already quite a few threads dealing with Lavin's ineptitude.

Either way, nice to see his name on a list like this and the school's name there too.
Nice work D'Lo!
Deserves all of this.
Go get em tonight!
Go St. John's!!!

Dee is sole BE player.

So Sterling Gibbs must be chopped liver.

The bias is strong.

Gibbs is impressive. But he's not the all-around warrior that Harrison is. Look at their rebound stats, for example: Gibbs is averaging 1.6 per game, Harrison 6.1.

Wow, Wooden committee members have actually been paying attention? And he hasn't even lit up Duke for 41 in a closer than expected loss yet.

My point isn't one or the other nor a comparison of the two.

While it may not be either or, I don't really see another way to read your post other than as a comparison of the two.

I took the post to mean it was surprising that only one BE player was nominated. Frankly I think Henton & Gibbs merit consideration.

Don't know about you guys, but being a tough grader, I'd have given Harrison and C+ to B over his first three years. This year, I'd give him an A+. There isn't very much I'd ask him to improve on since his decision making has been impeccable, shot selection great, defense superb, 120% hustle, and is hitting the boards like a defensive minded forward, not a high scoring guard. Is first team All American impossible? maybe, but if he continues stellar play he has to be in the conversation for 2nd or third team (if they still have that)
