DJ Kennedy to the Cavs

DJ was my favorite player at St. John's probably ever. I was younger in the late 90s, early 2000s and I liked Artest and Barkley a lot, but DJ was my favorite when I was able to really watch the game and understand it. From day one he always played hard and had a great attitude, even during the tough times. Last year, when his role was lessened for the team to win he handled it well and I think it helped him as a player because he was able to show how he can help a good team with all of his attributes. Just watched his interview on the Cavs website and very excited for him. Good luck DJ! Your St. John's family is very happy for you.

That great news. I wish him great success.
For those of you who want to catch the box score/game:
The Cavs remaining schedule:
Tomorrow night vs. San Antonio
Monday vs. Menphis.
Wednesday vs. Washington
Thursday vs. Chicago

DJ was one of my favorite players here. I was heartbroken to see him injure his knee just at the moment where he was finally going to be able to play in the NCAA tournament. This is a well deserved opportunity for someone who I believe richly deserves it. Congratulations and here's  hoping that you have a long and successful career.

I also think we beat CUSE last year in BET if DJ didn't go down. That changes the whole seeding and our NCAA fate.

Congrats DJ! I can't wait to see him on the floor, that is nobody will ever be able to take away from him.

The more Johnnies in the league the better. Another Lavin-coached product to reach the NBA--with Harkless to be drafted this year. Pipeline!

Congratulations to DJ . I enjoyed watching him play for the four years he was here and saw that he was able to adjust his game to what our needs were . It was nice to see him in games where he realized he had to take charge of the team when it was necessary . Two good things about Cleveland -- DJ and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame .

What a testament to hard work and perseverance. DJ gave us at SJU everything he had, a great guy to have on your team, even during the lean times he played so damn hard, way to go, I hope your NBA future is bright!
