CricketsNCAA denied another year of eligibility for both of them over a month ago. If he means the Court has denied it, he needs to go back and correct his “breaking news.”

NCAA has been consistent on this concerning the Ivy League players long before most of us had heard of Dingle or Ledlum, so no, at least not in this case, it has nothing to do with the Big East.Boomer Esiason, a huge Ranger fan for life, swears the NHL Officials have a Screw-The-Rangers, Red Button in League Offices in Toronto.
I believe the NCAA has a Screw-The-Big East/StJ, Red Button in Indianapolis.
As an attorney I thought their case was pretty compelling for the reason JohnnyFan stated, they were denied Year 5 because of a decision by their conference versus everyone else. Seems arbitrary and capricious to me.
If the the injunction was denied, where is it documented? If the injunction was really denied, if I were the player, I would continue the suit and seek damages from the NCAA re loss of nil money. The decision really is arbitrary, and NCAA is basically saying you should have left Harvard and played elsewhere that year. After decades of limiting transfers, they now say you had to transfer, and give up your Ivy league diploma as well. It is a nutty position.
I can't believe a Queens judge ruled against them.If the the injunction was denied, where is it documented?
I’m gonna declare myself guilty if you are ever on my trialI dont get it. Love both? One was terrible for 3/4ths of the season and the other is way to slow and not athletic enough if we want to be a top team.
We have pitino. Finishing 5th in the big east isnt good enough anymore.
These 2 were a big part of a team that did not get it done.
Use the last scholly on a player who will get it done!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL......since we have a presence in Staten Island, maybe we could have stood a better chance there!I can't believe a Queens judge ruled against them.
Agreed. Denied. No written decision explaining why it was denied. It really was denied. There is no entry on the NYSECF site yet, but below is a screenshot from ecourts. They do this weird thing in Queens where a clerk will email the parties a decision and then not put it on the public docket until days later. That must be what’s going on here.

Hofstra grad.I can't believe a Queens judge ruled against them.
Maybe she doesn't even know why she denied it! Maybe NCAA rulings are above her pay grade.Agreed. Denied. No written decision explaining why it was denied.
Watch another school get this done in their jurisdiction. I can’t imagine Ledlum and Dingle are the only two Ivy kids upset over losing their 5th year.Hofstra grad.
Did either of them qualify for STJ graduate degrees?St. John's knew this was a longshot (and we've never been particularly good at long shots) so they were prepared to move on.
Right now, fifth year or graduate players are the only players certain not to be back the following season. This coming season will be the last of 5 year players.
I wonder what % of players will compete their college careers with just one school. Pretty low I guess.
Ledlum especially was a pleasure to watch. Dingle took so long to get comfortable it was hard to tell if he had finally broken through or simply was having a stretch of good games. Solid citizens, glad they were here.
Ledlum got his degree from Harvard and is pursuing a masters in International business at St John's. Dingle unverified and not my business is likely to get an undergrad degree from St johns and not UPenn.Did either of them qualify for STJ graduate degrees?
