Detroit In Game Thread

2nd chance points coming back to kill us again. Our offense is abysmal and we are in the bonus before we can say "foul".
 
Maybe the "experts" were correct picking us last in the BE because if we can't be competitive with this team it does not bode well
 
It's one half not time to overreact. That being said my worst fears are true as I haven't seen any continuity of offense with a set freaking play. Dunlap will be sorely missed it appears
 
With that said all of you need to take a chill pill it's 1 half and all of you are whining like babies.

Agreed, very disappointing. Compounding that is they are not playing especially hard. A lot of athletes not enough ballplayers. But it is only a half

Nah, Detroit is one of the best mid majors in the nation and they have an NBA draft pick playing PG. We can still win this game with adjustments. If this were NJIT I'd be concerned.
 
I hope I am wrong, but NOTHING I have seen in 20 minutes makes me think we can win this game:

sloppy ball handling
cant rebound
bad shooting

After one game (more like, one half).... Sure. Detroit is an NCAA tournament team.
 
No need to be obnoxious...I am entitled to my opinion.....I have seen enough SJU BB (graduated in '67) to know a good performance from a bad one
