Detroit In Game Thread

WOW I'm exhausted from screaming at the tv. What a win, hats off to Harrison the kid made all the key plays. He's a winner.

I know when I get home this evening, I'll be fast forwarding the DVR right to the second half and spare myself a lot of agita.

I know, I'm in the same boat. Thanks for the comments during the game guys. It helped put the score in context. Our newbie board crashers running around like Chicken Little in the first half was crazy. Where did those guys come from?

I am one of them I guess. Although I have read this board for years. But that first half would of had to concern even the most experienced posters.

I wasn't picking anyone out in particular, just seemed like a bunch of new names and many of the comments were very doom and gloom. I was following the score and the comments, and while a defecit never feels good, after many comebacks the last two years, the 8 point deficit didn't seem insurmountable. Others seemed ready to throw away the season. Anyway, I'm glad they got things straightened out.

The "fundies" of boxing out (or lack there of) were really striking the nerve with me.

42 points from our backcourt of Greene (20) and Harrison (22). Gotta love that kinda production.

College is a guards game and we will only get better. If we can have any type of consistency from our guards we will be dynamite this season and CO adds a dimension SJU has never had. Add Jamal in one month and we become an improved defensive team.
