Don't think that's true. Ellison frequently drives and runs into a crowd in the lane. If Mussini was camped in one corner and Amar or Ron was camped in the other, either there'd be a lot less traffic in the lane or one of the shooters would be open for a corner three. So far when they have been on the floor together I've noticed that Mussini always spots up when Ellison drives but that Ellison rarely looks for him. Seems like something Chris could get him to focus on, which would get Mussini more open looks and Ellison more space to operate in the lane...

Mussini is playing out of position and has handled it as good as can be expected from him. I think he is going to be fine after a summer of development and playing next year without as much expected from him and playing on the wing.

True, but his poor shooting in Big East play can't be ignored. Before the Villanova game, he was shooting 30% in conference games. He's not hitting open looks.

To be honest with you he hasn't had many open looks. Plus the fact he is playing point guard which takes a hell of a lot of extra energy, especially bringing the ball up court against a press. The kid has to be tired. Next year should show us one way or the other whether he can be a successful shooting guard.

I think fatigue is playing a part. Because he was hitting a lot of 3s earlier in the year. And it's not like we were playing bad teams either

I have an extra ticket for tonight's game. A buddy can't make it and looks like it will go to waste. It's a chairback seat. The downside is you will be sitting next to me.

PM me if interest. I am not looking for any money.

HUGE game. This is this team's Final 4. They hare having a student pep rally before the game - let's hope there is a big turnout and the crowd is loud.

This is one badge of respect this team can earn by a Big East win at home in a winnable game. Here we go, Redmen.

I hope they can pull it out , but If not, going in to Depaul w/o a win, there will be a lot of pressure on Depaul. I see this as or 2nd best chance to get a win.

Personnel usage will be huge tonight. You have to go with the hot hand if there is one.
