DePaul, Wed. Feb. 17, 8pm, CBS SN (Radio n/a)

There was a rush to judgement on Ellison(37% shooting in Big East play), who has some ability. I will also stand by my assessment of Mussini(29% shooting in Big East play), who I felt could not play at this level after watching him outplayed by the St. Francis of New York guards.

Mussini is playing out of position and has handled it as good as can be expected from him. I think he is going to be fine after a summer of development and playing next year without as much expected from him and playing on the wing.

Looks like we will be 1 point underdogs. Hopefully this will be the night, for everyone's sake.

If our guys play like they did tonight, it should be the night the streak ends.

If the only 2 games you saw this year were Xavier and Nova on the road you wouldn't believe me if I told you we were winless. We could finally get a W or lose by 30. Neither would shock me

As hard as the losing streak has been on us fans, it's gotta be killing the kids. They deserve a win.

Has anyone else noticed that our best games are when AA is on target With a bit more experience he should be on target alot

DePaul's last game- lost to Villanova on 2/9, 86-59.
Sounds like we may have a shot! :)

you know Leitao is going to have his team prepared. Myke Henry and Billy Garrett are best players on the floor.
Still Johnnies's have to realize this is their best chance.

True, but his poor shooting in Big East play can't be ignored. Before the Villanova game, he was shooting 30% in conference games. He's not hitting open looks.

I keep reading about Mussini playing out of position. If he is such a great SG, why doesn't Mullin play Ellison at the 1 and Mussini at the 2 at times and see how that works out?

Mussini would be a decent 2 with a point guard who can get him the ball when he's open like LoVett presumably can. Having Ellison and Mussini out there together would be a recipe for disaster.
