Means nada. Means we just lost our rudder PG in Providence and DePaul games and whole team in a funk against Butler away.
We shall prevail in all these rematches. The 14th is a good day. Let’s go Johnnies.

It's time for me to fess. SJU are winning now because of me, yeah true story.

I figured Duke would be a blowout loss, so went to do something, checked my phone around phone around 5pm, I was like wtf I was in conplete shock. Then was gonna watch Villanova but decide not to, just put it on the radio and keep an eye on the boxscore on the computer, W. So I figured just coincidence or is it me, so I didn't watch Marquette and boom 3-0 now.
No worries, I won't watch tomorrow night and 4-0 guaranteed.

So we're gonna win the last 5, sweep 4 games in 4 nights, and winning the NC. It's already a done deal, we got this.

I take responsibility for Ponds too, I stopped watching and all of a sudden he's the best in all of college basketball, he's going for 50 tomorrow night.

I'll be accepting ThankYous after we win the NC. :p

I wanted to remember which teams we owe a big beat down to and what teams remain on the schedule. If you go by record, the first 2 games are our easiest opponents. Mission continues with DePaul our target tonight after 17 point collapse at home.

Tough game. That’s what make BE so much fun. Not the original, but a nice alternative

Thanks Section 9, Knight, Oldschool (How old?), Chicago Days, Adam, Seattle Johnny (hope we get Brooks) and others for your upbeat posts -
I tend to be on the optimistic side but try to sprinkle in a little reality (whether I like it or not, the reality that is)
but reflecting on my current feelings -
I'd be happy with 3 of 5 wins (I think we can lose or win every remaining game)
and ultimately I'd be content with ending the year at .500 or a bit above
An NIT would be great; NCAA a bit too much to anticipate this year...

All in all the season had turned out okay imo
and next year bodes well
all the best
Beat DePaul!

Every game from here is a winnable game,we have to stay out of foul trouble once we are forced to give maj mins to the bench we are in big trouble Our intensity must remain high

Normally would have thought DePaul might have been a little overconfident and possibly overlooked us but we had to go and ruin that possible advantage by beating Duke and Nova and go into game on a 3 game winning streak.

Not the original but I really enjoy the match ups in the "new" Big East
The games are just as intense and the competitiveness is just as good
Anybody has the potential to beat anybody on any given night

I ‘get’ the revenge wish among fans—but I think DePaul is better than their record and poses tough matchups for us.
That said, we played a woeful game against them at CA in early January in the early shock-throes stage of ‘no LoVett’ and Shamorie a bit banged up.
So, I believe we’ll win IF we keep our recent intensity and Ponds’ intensity and shooting approaches his performances of the past 4 games.
I think it will.
I think we’ll win.
It might be close.

I think as a team we need to be careful not to be too reliant on Shamorie because if he is having an off night we don't want him to force shots. We need contributions from the entire starting five.

I agree Bama. This has to be a team effort. We need solid games from all our starters as well as support from Trimble and maybe Yakwe.
Just saying, it’d be very tough to win in our present lineup, should Shamorie be totally ‘off’ his game.
Most of the 8 ‘tight’ BE games we lost was due to subpar to poor performances by Shamorie.
These days, we need a ‘good’ Shamorie performance to prevail—combined with good team efforts by the others.
Let’s go Johnnies.

As well as Simon plays an overall game , he gets my Leonard Hamilton award for most bunnies missed at the Rim . He also should not shoot any fade away jumpers .
