@DePaul, Wed. Feb. 14, 9pm, CBS SN / Sirius & TuneIn (STREAM)

We have to get revenge on this team. It will be tough, but we have to get revenge on them.

Of course they’re all must win games at this point given the hole we dug for ourselves, but a win against DePaul gives us a real decent chance to make the NIT.

I’m still praying we win four out of he next five and make a run in the Big East Tournament. I think that puts us squarely on the bubble.

Speaking of which, I know I sound like a broken record, but I’d love to see Yakwe get some minutes. If we’re to make a run in the Big East Tournament, we’re going to need To give our starters a breather.

With current records at 4pm Saturday
At DePaul (9-14)
At Marquette (14-11)
MSG Seton Hall (17-7)
Butler (17-9)
At Providence (16-8)

How many can we win?

SJU in top 75 now.

if we can somehow win 3 out of the next 4 that game up in Providence we get the win as the 114 crew drive up for it

if we can lose 11 in a row, we can win 8 in a row right? Seems logical to me :D

Three of the teams in our next 5 games slapped us silly, at a time when the team was struggling to figure out how to play without LoVett.
I say let’s run the table and sweep deep into the BET.
Never say never.
Let’s go Johnnies.

G’town up 12 vs SH 17 minutes to go . What is wrong with the Hall? Delgado injured and playing hurt . Hall on run , cut it to 6. 16:30 left .

No point guard and can’t shoot free throws recipe for disaster for Hall.

They and Providence taking big steps back next year

PC has two top 50 studs coming in. And Alpha Diallo is good. I think they will be ok next year even though they lose Cartwright, Bullock, and Lindsey. Hall not so much.

The Big East tournament should be interesting as the conference is loaded with good teams from top to us. And we are the best .500 team in America.

4 games, in 4 nights with a 6 man rotation

Good thing Yakwe and AA are well rested. :D

Spocky Ramone, (just because I've got a buddy with deep ties to PC), the Order that runs them (I think) are Dominicans not Franciscans, but I could be wrong. They're both Friars, whatever that actually means I do not know.

The two largest Roman Catholic schools in the nation are, at least at one time, DePaul and SJU, flip-flopping spots. It still may be the case. Big urban commuter schools with many first generation college students and lower than average tuition for a private University. Those are probably the reasons.

DEP and St. John's both Vincentian and have many of the same attributes.

We owe DeP for putting a beating on us at CA earlier in the year and I think the way this team is playing now, payback is going to come.

Being so short handed and having to play 5 players for 95% of each game we are doing fantastic. Thank the team for this run and wish them well in the BET
