Seems high since we were one point favorites a couple weeks then, then followed that up with 4 mostly weak performances. DePaul has been pretty awful during that stretch however.

Today is a must win. Simply winning today MIGHT be enough to secure a ninth place finish at a minimum. Last year DePaul finished with 3 Big East wins, and one was against us.

Are there any "must" wins for this team during this regular season? The next and only "must" win for this team is round one of the BE tourney. Sit back and enjoy the progression. As Jay Wright just stated to the press, "They're going to be a hell of a team."

wouldn't say any game is a must win. But what is a must; is significant improvement from last year. Gotta show recruits we are improving and our record is one way to evaluate progress. If this one gets away its going to be tougher to get the W back. We also need something to turn the momentum and hopefully a W here could be the catalyst.

After the losses to Delaware State and LIU it became clear that this team could lose to ANY team. Therefore every game must be approached as a must win mentally for these players who seem to lack motivation every other game. Without a talented upperclassman to lead them freshman and sophomoric mistakes have been dictating the outcome of most losses.

Yeah there are must wins in the regular season for very inexperienced teams. This could be the season today.

They beat DePaul and they're 3-4 in B.E. play, they'll have a chance to get to 4-4 then at SHU.
If they lose then the'll be 2-5, and probably lose at SHU, and PC which puts them at 2-7.

So yeah I'll say today is the season.

i find myself rooting for the top 4 teams in the big east (nova, butler, creighton and x) against the others so that maybe we have a chance to crawl out of the basement of the conference by season end.....optically, if we could finish above at least a couple of teams, it would help show some progress....
