Good news - 3 point win by Johnnies on ill advised 40 foot jumper by Amar early in shot clock in last possession.
Bad news - In his excitement Amar sprints to bench flattening Matt, who is subsequently put in body cast and unable to recruit for a year.

Agree. Hard to think of any game as a "must win" with the kind of season we're having, but this one fits the bill.

And I hear Amar banked the 3pter in
Agree about the front court but I think what Bucknastty might be thinking is kind of what my thought is and that's we need to win the few games we can win and hopefully steal one or 2 ( Something Brown would know about ) so the season doesn't end in meltdown on the court which could affect morale and create tons of bad press and not exactly help with recruiting. I was thinking 15 wins before the season started. Now I'm just hoping we get to double digitsPS: The most important development for SJU this week, by far, was the discovery that Zach Brown would rather pursue a life of crime than a basketball career. We desperately need talent like him to be competitive in the frontcourt. That recruiting loss is far more important than yesterday's result (we did beat the spread) or tomorrow's game against DePaul. I see tons of things that Mullin is doing that I disagree with and bitch about here, but we are nowhere close to spiral-out-of-control territory. But if we don't produce some solid frontcourt guys for next year, we will be then.
How will things spiral out of control? Tomorrow is a game we should win. If we lose kids will be extremely down, 4 game losing streak with possibility of it turning into an extensive streak. A win builds confidence and makes players believe in what they are doing. If you are competing you do not like losing every game it is just common sense.
