Depaul Game Thread

I don't know how this hasn't dawned on anyone, but guys like Pointer and Garrett are dribbling the ball because they HAVE to.

no, they don't have to dribble drive to the hoop and have the ball kick off their knee every single time. Furthermore, they don't have to try to break a press single-handedly and throw the ball into the stands.

They're playing with a 6-man rotation and a hurt Moe. What the hell do you want them to do? Hang on the perimeter while Greene and Harrison do all the work? It's that easy to break a press all of a sudden?\
If they have a chance to get top the basket, they should. That's their game, for better or for worse. imo.

PG with a game! I understand that Harrison is a volume shooter and he needs to shoot a lot to get hot, which I don't love, I like shooters who can play within the flow, but when he was shooting as bad as he was in the first half and the game is slipping away thats when I have a real problem. When hes making his shots we are great, but I don't like the lulls, move the ball around and try to get scores when you are struggling. Drive to the hoop and get contact, or pass when the double comes, don't need to force up a shot every time is what my point was.

We got lucky there with that T.O. Hit FT's and we win.

I wouldn't exactly call it luck. He got the ball in a bad spot and Gift closed on him fast. Just solid defense without the foul.
