Dear Mr. Monasch,

Smile more! Look happy. Especially now!!

If we want to put a positive spin on his demeanor before/after SJU games is that Monasch wants to win as badly as we do. He has invested in a big time salary, and simply being competitive is not good enough for him. If he's like me, he is cautiously optimistic because we need to be injury free and we need solid bench players to emerge to carry us through a competitive home and home series BE schedule. I hope he can pause today and smile at the fact that we've taken care of business in the first part of the schedule so far.

I think they have done more than "taken care of business". This team has impressed AP voters in a way that no other team here has in 15 years. Their defensive numbers are very impressive and their offense is not bad either. They hit 44%, which is above average, and they came through in the clutch against Cuse on the road. They will lose again this year, but with this D, they are looking to give us a better run than any we've seen in this century.

I don't care what the AD looks like when he's watching the games. I do care that he keeps this hoops program moving in a positive direction. It's on him.
