Really nice kid from what I understand, and has had a ton of surgeries. To burn a roster spot is a risk because he is sort of the Steven Matz of college basketball players. At some point he is going to be injured again.

Sorry for the late response but I agree with you.
Looks like his ship will go to a walk on which is really burning the spot.
Also ironic since he came here because of Matt.
Perhaps Matt sniffing the LSU job gave him a moment to pause even with Freudenberg and Ellison leaving and Bashir "testing" the NBA waters and Lovett contemplating leaving, etc.
Perhaps Matt should actually re-recruit him a second time. :whistle:

Gonna guess Williams wasn't happy about something, maybe playing time. Most of his court time appeared more productive than Yakwe's so maybe he feels if he is going to be a bench player, maybe 15 minutes per game on an NCAA bound team is better thana little less on a team not a lock for post season play.

Some of the comments coming out of the very negative group, for lack of a better term, have been or border on ugly as of late.
" Players with no brains, Matt's height, Matt's work ethic," really uncalled for IMHO.
Believe me the day I hear Matt or other members have stopped working, like we had with certain prior staff members, I will join in the chorus, however, I highly doubt it will happen.
Until then I would ask that we all refrain from insulting players and staff members.

part of the accepted culture lately. Did you see colbert destroy Trump monday night. No respect for POTUS, and that goes for Obama also. People were crapping on him also. Social media created this atmosphere. People just insult and say what they want. Its kind of sad.

I feel terrible for Trump. Especially since he has publicly modeled very respectful dialogue over the past two years.
