Is he suspended from "game competition" for the entire Season?
The timing of this seems very strange, coming off recent remarks by Hurley about what Sid had to do to achieve his potential.
 
Here is ESPN story. Suspension is until further notice and UCONN is not giving any details on why.

Jalen Adams is also suspended? That's a much bigger issue for Uconn if not this board.

Sid Wilson and Jalen Adams did not play in scrimmage. "Violation of teams rules."

Saw recap the in UCONN's exhibition game vs. Southern Ct. that Yakwe didn't get into the game.

He is still recovering from a foot injury. They kept him out as a precaution. Should play when the season tips off for real this week.

I’ve said it all along. They’re dummies. Drop that sandbag and let it sink. Save a ton of money and put efforts into the one sport that really matters at UConn which is basketball. I can’t stand them, but if they dropped football I’d love to hate them again in our league. They’d be a big draw to our conference. It’s line in the sand time for them. They have big aspirations for football which are further away than time travel.
