Enough already...we were down 22 points at one point (maybe mroe, i forget.) Yes, we had a nice comeback but that happens alot when teams get out to big leads....they let up.



Probably the worse matchup for us in terms of style.

You are ridiculous. We make an 18 point run, and it's because Duke let up? Not because our shots actually started to fall, or our freshman started to play harder than Duke?

A basketball game is 40 minutes. We dominated Duke for the second half of that game and we came within four points with 22 seconds left. That is a steal, three-pointer, foul, and either a two or three to tie or win depending on the FT results. If Kelly wasn't on fire from the FT line, we win that game.

No. Being ridiculous is continuing to bring up how "good we played" in a game that we lost. Enough with the moral victories- the kids showed heart, but we still lost. Move on.
 
My days of just showing up at the Garden with a 10 dollar bill and getting in and then sneaking down to the 200s are over, aren't they?

I guess so. How about picking up the torn ticket stubs and counting out 5 for the 5 college guys with you and then having each one enter the turnstyle pointing at the guy behind him. When the final college guy gets to the ticket taker the torn stubs are one on top of another with a twenty dollar bill folded up below the tickets the usher/taker looks and feels the money smiles and says have a nice day boys.
Smiles galore everybody's in with no where to sit at the sold out Garden.

Dreaming... Worst matchup for us. I am sure the kids will play hard, and our fan base better be out in force to match the orange, but it will sadly be an Orange party at the garden.

In the interim keep dreaming and believing.. I'll be at the seton hall and rutgers games since I live in central jersey. Would love to win those two!
 
In a perfect mjmaherjr world we'd be seeing Dateline NBC and Chris Hansen bum rushing the syracuse bench and busting them in an episode of " to catch a predator '.

In the real world my gut tells me Cuse 75 us 61 and my girlfriend telling me afterwards " it's just a game. Don't get so upset "

Kenpom gives St.John's a 12% chance of winning.

 I am not goining to predict a win for our Redmen but will sure damn hope for an upset. There are two teams in the Big East I hate with a passion --- Uconn and Syracuse.
