Curbelo

Players are nort barred from attending post game pressers. They can be selected to take the podium with the coach at his discretion. Anderson goes solo.
When did he mock the coach?? You may be confusing him with Pinzon.
Having a Puerto Rican in the family, I assure you I am not stereotyping. The Bomba is the national dance of Borinquens and I have seen him doing it before games.
Yes, I agree Andre does not listen to Richie Valens as he was a Chicano from L.A.
He is a big fan of Bad 🐰.
Curbelo posted a picture to his social media from the back of the press room mocking CMA. I think it was laughing emoji of sorts

Yes, it was an emoji but Andre sees himself as a funny guy. He's the comedian of the team and his team mates know it as do the coaches. The kid is uncontrollable in that regard.
CMA is very tolerant with his kids which is a double edged sword and one of the reasons we are in the position we are in. Ergo, lack of discipline.

I’ve said it before curbelo is like a Dennis Rodman they need the right person around them to channel their uncontrolled energy. Bball aside he seems like a riot to hang out with though.
Ayo Dosunmu was that “right person.” The minute he left UI, it was all downhill for AC.

After a loss though?

We have mostly losses so does a clown change his act because the circus just left another town?
There are probably only 3 or 4 kids on this team that losing seriously.....Soriano, Posh and Wusu.

Yesterday at the game I was seated in section 109 with a clear view of the St John's bench from behind. Found myself observing Curbelo during timeouts. I'm not a doctor, or medical professional. But I'm convinced he has some sort of ADD or ADHD, whatever it is that makes it challenging for someone to focus. I often noticed him aimlessly wandering around, especially while the rest of the team was in the huddle. Didn't seem fully engaged at all. But when in the game, it's totally different. Just strange. I like Curbelo and I hope he gets it figured out. He seems like a good kid who maybe just needs some help.

Based on a similar view both at MSG and Carnesecca I have a similar viewpoint. And I admit I am not a medical professional either.

After 50 years working in behavioral health I am profoundly aware that I too am not a clinician. That said, it is routine to teach new staff that behavioral health phenomena are rooted in bio-psycho-social issues. The example I always used was a cousin-in-law who was a mild mannered jewelry salesman, whose necessary use of large amounts of steroids for treatment of kidney based illness eventually produced changes in personality ("roid rage") before death at an early age, because the steroids also blew out his immune system.

If he was playing well I would be fine with "Manny being Manny". He is eccentric to say the least but the truth is if he was playing up to his potential none of us would care...

In high school at home games, Andre would sometimes pick up one of those big dust mops and bring it onto the court and wipe up a "wet spot" during a time out or during a stopage. I hadn't really noticed it but it was pointed out to me by someone. I thought it was some kind of mechanism to get a breather or waste time. Now I wonder if it was just something else.
