Ok, thanks. Fingers crossed. I think he's a valuable member of our front court. Even though he missed some chippies against GTown, he rebounded well. He is unquestionably our best low post scorer, which admittedly isn't saying a whole lot. If nothing else, would be a big help to throw multiple bodies at Patton as fouls are likely to accumulate.
Creighton is 4-6 over the past ten losing three out of five at home during that stretch, including giving up 102 to Marquette at home.
The Johnnies are 5-5 during the past ten with just one road win at PC and poor defensive efforts in most of their road games.
The home court and front line will make this a difficult one to predict as a win, but Creighton is not at the top of their game. If the young Johnnies can steal this one it will make the BET very interesting and further muddy seeds three to eight.

I don't see a win here. However, I would like to see some effort particularly on the defensive side of the ball. Too many road games have been blowouts and we look like we came for a light scrimmage. I think when the effort becomes more consistent is when the program starts to turn a corner. Why not start tonight?

Ha! Sorry, tough place to play, senior night fwiw, Owens injury makes this a tough one for a young squad that struggles on road most nights. Then again, what do I know.
Paultz, do you have inside info on Owens or just reading the tea leaves? I agree that given the way the injury looked, I would be surprised if he played tonight.

Thanks. I would never suggest that we should concede a game, but to the extent Owens is questionable, better to give him a few extra days to recover so he is at or near full strength for Providence and Big East Tournament. It's pretty easy to re-tweak a sprain.
