@Creighton, Tues. Feb. 28, 8pm, CBSSN/570AM

This one is a give away game. I would prep for the Friars. I know you will say what kind of message will that send to the team. Well after getting the same putrid results time after time maybe they will give themselves a collective boot in the arse and come together as a team and put forth a good road effort.

There are no give away games. Play smart D, move the ball, hit free throws.

100pnts for Creighton, why watch SJU on the road?
I'm glad this is their last road game.

If a sprain and nothing worse, I save Owens for the BE Tourney.

Probably no Owens nor Williams. Yakwe and Amar are going to have to step up.

If we are only left with Yakwe and Amar it will be difficult against the likes of Patten, Hegner and Hansen. In addition Foster, Thomas and Huff are not slouches. Difficult road game, crowd will be extra loud in Nebraska.

Hope we save injured players for Providence, a winnable game. We are getting blown out no matter if they play this game and then there is the threat of re-injury and being out for Friars and possibly BE T.

I cringed when "BJ" Hayes as Marshall referred to him, gave him that intentional foul to the shoulder.

No word on either Owens or Williams I assume?

Williams played Saturday. I didn't hear anything about him being hurt afterwards, so I'm thinking he's good to go.

Williams was limping very badly on the bench. I suspect that's why he didn't come back in. As I mentioned on Saturday, I didn't see any contact so I suspect it's something chronic or he is not fully recovered from his injury.

His recent injury was reported as an ankle sprain (I noticed he was in a boot a couple of weeks ago), but he also seemed to be wearing an extra knee brace during the game.

St. John's forward Tariq Owens (ankle) will be a game-time decision at Creighton tomorrow, I'm told. #sjubb
