Went to à bar and got them to put the game on for me. First game I have been able to watch this season. Positives are Sima, Yakwe , Mussini and Ellison are all good big east talent and should have good careers at SJU. Ron M does not work hard enough on D and DJ is a little too concerned with his own game as opposed to the team. Glad they are here for this season but both are replaceable and will be replaced by Ponds and Bashir. Did not see too much out of AA. Love Felix and too bad he lost a year for nothing.
I like Mullins coaching style. Screams when warranted but relaxed. Players will want to play for him. I expect is too loose most games going forward so I was pleased with the effort. Better times are ahead of this team and group of coaches.

Completey agree Moose. Was at game but they flashed reply on board and it confirmed same. Would have broke his back, fractured his skull or both. Disappointing to continue losing streak, but this team with a year more experience beats this team no doubt. Growing pains. Still enjoy watching this team compete more than any of Lavin's teams. Silver lining to game was sitting next to Paultz his very cool son and being able to commiserate with them. Next year can't come soon enough.

Today was a game CJ had no role. If only he went up for shots with the same tenacity he does for rebounds now. I would have liked to see more Amar today. In place of Ron's minutes. Amar made two nice moves but then with Yakwe Ellison and Felix playing well he had no time.
I hope that Mullin plays Yawke and Sima together more. Amar and Christian can be there reserves. They will play well together. Very happy with Ellison today. He will have his up and downs but will be a lot better down the road for getting a chance this year. I am sorry that I am not emanored with Mussini. I am sure that he will be a better two guard but I am hoping that he will be more of a role player when Ponds and Lovett get to play.
This was just a BAD game all around. We never could take the lead, Poor defensive play, bad shot selection....and to be totally honest one of the most boring games I have seen in a while. I am a long time season ticket holder and a big fan, but these last two games remind me of the Norm Roberts era where there was never a reason to cheer because we never could catch up. Fourteen games in and so far no one has stepped up as that go to guy
I know we have young team but at least look like you want to get a stop or prevent the 3. OK I feel better now!

When on offense, Creighton's players were moving at twice the speed as our defenders, almost to a man. We just don't have any of perimeter quickness. That will change next year, but it's still tough knowing that there will be little excitement except for seeing if the staff gets Freudenberg and maybe Alkins. The Big East season just started, and we all have to wait for next season already.
Well, it all depends on you definition of excitement is.
1) We never had the lead or could catch up
2) Zero lead changes
3) EVERYTIME we got a momentum basket it was matched by a quick 2 or 3 on the defensive end.
4) Limited if any student section support (out on Christmas break)
5) Refs calling the game close from the beginning whistle.
6) and the one time the crowd got excited with Sima's dunk they called an T and like magic the excitement was gone.

Attended my first game on campus in years and it was nice to return to Carnesecca....disappointed in the loss but after the game took a walk around campus and was so impressed with how beautiful the campus looks now....a lot of great improvements.....I knew this year would be a throw away so I was not upset about the loss after the game....in the past few years I would be so annoyed by a loss because I felt we had the talent to compete for a Big East title.....wishing you all a Happy New Year and already looking forward to next season!!!

HAAAA !!! I didn't even realize he did it but I love how now when people see him sitting on that scorers table they are going to think of me being either annoyed or pissed off depending on how bad we are losing. lol
