Still don't get the love for Mussini.
Need him to find his inner Bootsy/Phil Greene fast if we're going to get back in this...
Please don't put Bootsy and Greene in same sentence
Balamou is far better at point guard than Mussini. Actually he is a far better player.

Mussini is the problem not the solution.
Don't get why people are taking shots at Muss.
Dude is a shooter who is doing everything but that. He has to defend the opposing teams quickest guard, take the ball up, run the offense, and is struggling to get separation on offense because he isn't a point guard.
He's a shooter and when we have a true point guard in the mix he will be able to focus on shooting.

First true road win for Creighton this year.
About what you could expect today. Lots to learn with Grosselle schooling everyone down low;

Agree somewhat though 6-1 150 pound 2 guard not ideal.
I will say this, hopefully Ponds is clearly better as Mussini as 6th man means team is a lot better off than with him as a starter. I like Mussini but I do not think he should one of your three best players.

I was wondering about his down-low move, with his right elbow wrapping around the defender. Is that legal?
That Sima T on the dunk and getting 4th foul will be the sly fox put us out of business turning point of the game

Mjmaherjr called it The technical was definitely the turning point of the game. Don't hang on the damn rim but a ticky tack call in my opinion
I thought that was a bad call. His only other option looked to be to land on 13's head.
Disappointments:
Continued porous defense against the three point shooters and drives to the basket
No double teams against Griselle
Terrible foul shooting from Sima and Yakwe
Timeouts - are we saving them for the next game? Sima waiting at the desk to come in while Griselle is eating up Yakwe
Mussini has to give up the behind the back dribble
Foul trouble - we put Creighton at the line early in both the first and second half

I really don't get the lack of calling timeouts sometimes.

I get the whole wanting them to work it out thing even if I might not agree with it but at one point the announcers said Felix was asking to be taken out because he was so winded and yet no timeout and the game continued for a while. At one point after the announcers had mentioned it Felix threw up a long shot which was ridiculous because if you are that winded then don't be shooting long jump shots. But that 1 really perplexed me why they didn't call time out. It's not like a player is going to get rested from no stoppage in gameDisappointments:

I'm from the Dean Smith school of calling timeouts, so it doesn't bother me.
Maybe Mullin wants to get these kids to learn to snap out of it on their own.
