Creighton, Sat., Feb. 18, 7:30p, FS-1

It sucks to feel like losing is better for the long term viability of the program! That Saint John’s will make a change of their coach.
Well I think tonights loss sealed the deal for an nit bid, absolutely no chance even if they finish at 9-11 in conf
Also not winning 4 straight in the Tournament, so to me it's a safe bet that postseason won't happen.

So I'll be rooting for them to finish strong.

13 threes for Creighton v 3 for SJ. Do they practice defending threes or just devote most of practice time to alley oops
I remember a quote from Sleepy Floyd about playing against us, paraphrasing. "We knew exactly what they were going to do, but they execute so well we could not stop them."

Sometimes have to give credit to the opposition, as Creighton does this very well.

Disagree that they couldn't make NIT if they won last 3 which would mean big wins against UCONN & Marquette (latter on the road) but it won't happen so moot point.

At the risk of saying something complimentary of CMA when I was watching his In the Huddle segment he told then team they needed to play with more poise and he was exactly right. What he left out is that poise is a product of preparation and that is clearly lacking with this team. That is entirely on him and the staff.

At this point you can look at the last three games as exhibition games for the BET.

Ok Creighton made some shots down the stretch. Saint John’s offense made terrible decisions turned the ball over and took foolish shots. Another hand the ball off along at the top of the key with 5 seconds on the shot clock, throw up a contested 30 foot pray.

This product is not watchable. How could a team with this much experience value the ball so little? The players show no respect for their coach by their actions on and off the court. Either they are un-coachable or they ignore what CMA says. Which means they don't find it of much value .

You are assuming he says something besides try hard. I am not convinced.

FS1 not doing CMA favors during those in the huddle segments. Nothing but cliches from MA and eye rolling from our players.

Our team must have the lowest collective basketball IQ in the entire NCAA
This game was winnable but we kept turning the ball over time and time again down the stretch
At least I don't get upset anymore - I expect it to happen!!!
My head should fall off my head from all the times that I vigorously shake it in disgust
