This is a tournament team with the right line ups. Pitino would have this team passed first round of tournament. Anderson doesn’t seem to realize which lineup and chemistry work.

I dont understand why so often when we put up an outside shot, virtually our entire team concedes the offensive rebound, turns and starts moving back on defense. Why couldn’t we have 2 or even 3 players run underneath to secure an offensive rebound on outside shots?
It isn’t as evident tonight, although our rebounding outside of misses off layups has been nil, but it has been pretty obvious consistently over recent seasons.
I remember teams years ago attacking the offensive glass. It seems to be a strategy by Anderson, which I thought might be because we didnt have size inside. But this year, Stanley, Jones, even Storr seem capable of helping Soriano on the boards.
Even Posh seems to have had more offensive rebounds in other years.

Not do sure. Someone looking for an excuse to retain could latch on to player caused issues just as much as coach deficiency.

If St. John's and Creighton played 10 times on a neutral court, Creighton wins 9 times, and I'm being kind. Our players are just not that good. It's not just the coachs fault.
