Like it or not Curbelo was a major contributor today. His buckets in that 3 minute stretch were huge.

Pinzon & Storr minutes increasing, both 24+ min.
jones seeing his minutes diminish- I’m fine with.

whoever said 3 months ago that Storr would be starting by 2nd half of season, good call.

He is overly emotional and that makes him very reactionary after a bad play. I see it all the time when he is on the court. If he could get that in check he would be so much better

Big win for the team with Jones with only 2 points in 13 minutes

And near the end of the game he is going down the beach slapping everyone five being a good teammate. No pouting, glad to see it. Need to get him untracked though.

We effectively exploited the fact that UCONN has no real good PG . Hawkins is shooting guard. I thought he was going to go for 40 based on his 1st half but , he wore down in 2nd . A great player. Likely a one and done . Still we neutralized him in 2 nd half . Shot better free throws in 2nd half too . A excellent upset Win for team . Need to build on it and win next 5 .
