The missed shots were striking in the first five minutes when Soriano didnt touch the ball and our two chuckers were in full bloom. The defense kept close until we started passing and spreading out the offensive sets (per the Pitino time out direction).
Letting Soriano sit also made the point for RP, He saw Traore hustling both ways and came back much more focused and active. Good 1/2 once we looked for assists from the point and he delivered.
 
Alleyne’s first few shots were long so he was probably a little extra amped up for this one. Hopefully he settles in and hits some big shots in the 2nd half because we won’t win if we only hit a couple 3s all game
 
Anyone else thinking we have a more “veteran” team. Strange given Yukon coming off a National Championship. Don’t know if that is a difference maker tonight but I think we might have an edge there.

Fantastic Four (2005) is a pretty dogshit movie. But In hindsight, something about Jessica Alba as invisible woman in that film awakened something at me at 8-9 years old 😂

This would be such a huge win, not only in standings/rankings, but in the team culture and mindset. To get a win here after Xavier gives them such a confidence build in themselves and each other. No opponent is too “big” from here if they hold and overcome a 10 point Vegas underestimation of them. Suddenly, and for the year, they all believe in defense per Pitino. Do it team!
