I was actually going to post the exact same thing at that point. They knew it was over.

When they went on their little run it was like at the end of Perfect Storm when the sun comes out for like 30 seconds and the crew has a glimmer of hope. Then the storm clouds come back, Clooney says "she's not gonna let us out" and the boat gets swamped and sinks. Could have started the buses right there.

Feels like a dream. As a fan of this team the past 20+ years, I didn't even think it was possible to beat UConn twice in one season. They've tormented us year after year. And after they beat us last year at MSG, I told myself I couldn't stomach being in our home arena surrounded by their entitled fans again. So happy I changed my mind and went today.

Watching on Fox...the ambient crowd noise at MSG is so loud that you cannot understand the Fox announcers. and not just after SJ baskets! Fox must have so many court side mics that you hear the cheerleaders screaming louder than Gus Johnson. Got my volume cranked up and still can't understand what they are saying. And they must have placed a mic near the announcers table as he is drowning out the FOX crew

Gotta watch the replay at 10pm, just to hear how MSG sounded on TV.

If I remember correctly, Spike Lee actually used to attend St John's games and root for them. I vaguely remember him being shown during the documentary ESPN did on the team during the 01-02 season.
