Two years ago the outstanding player at FIBA 19 is not a current division 2 player but played for the Knicks last season and his family name is Barrett.
I am unaware of the entire roster of this year’s Canadian team but two of the kids are my sons friends and former AAU teammates. Ben Mathurin will be a sophomore at Arizona and was second or third in the running for PAC 10 rookie of the year. Olivier Maxime Prosper will be a sophomore transfer at Marquette this season. The talent level at FIBA 19 and under is through the roof.
