College BBall Imperialism Map

For what it is worth there are now twelve division one teams that are unbeaten (see below). Happily we are one of those twelve. Hopefully as this group pares down we will still be there. There are obviously some really strong teams in this group. Personally I have been very impressed with Michigan so far.

There are also some former SJU people there. Tariq Owens and his TexasTech team is 7 and 0 and former coach Mike Dunlap has Loyola Marymount at 8 and 0.

1. Houston 6-0
2. Virginia 7-0
3. Texas Tech 7-0
4. Kansas 6-0
5. St. John's 7-0
6. Michigan 8-0
7. Buffalo 7-0
8. Nevada 8-0
9. Arizona State 6-0
10. Furman 8-0
11. Gonzaga 8-0
12. Loyola Marymount 8-0

I want that Buffalo territory. We might be rooting for Syracuse to beat them in 2 weeks

I could never bring myself to do that Mike. :)

Agree../ it’s not worth it! Our map still covers us for the most part as NY’s team...

One minor adjustment

Only undefeated team playing tonight is about to tip at 10 o’clock. 8-0 Loyola Marymount against UCLA. Former SJU coach Mike Dunlap off to a good start this season

Bring back the 80's!

the other undefeated teams also seem to be playing cupcakes this week. Virginia is 34.5 point favs tonight.

Nevada does play Arizona State on Friday though. So by the end of the week the list will shrink to 10, hopefully more lose as well

How would we function without smart phones and social media B)

How many were they favored by in March?

ASU vs. Nevada tipping off in a few minutes (midnight). One undefeated team will take the L. If Nevada wins this could be the last game between undefeated teams this year. If ASU wins they play Kansas (currently undefeated) in a few weeks.

I foresee a matchup of undefeated St. John's vs undefeated Furman in the Final 4 this year.
That SI article that had Nevada being the last undefeated team is looking shaky
I shouldn’t have said anything
