The hire actually makes sense if not for his father coaching in the same conference.
Going to be weird but I think his son will do well there except for twice a year...LOL
Now we know why his players are flowing into the Portal. They knew he was leaving.
I guess we may just find out if we could take Xavier’s coach in a handful of years.

Love this hire! Also feel if we do want to hire Pitino years from now, it'd be much easier to lure him from Xavier than if he went to some of the other schools rumored to have interest like Nova or UVA. Having him at Xavier is the best case scenario for us and the conference IMO. Also may mean that Nova has a shot at Willard.
