Coach K To Miss 4 Weeks - Back Surgery

One would think that Grayson tortured his gerbil as a youngster;

Not as bad as his trip moves, but just can't stand him. :)

I read that he scored 666 points in the regular season last year. Proving he is the devil

I'm not sure what to call it. He definitely has anger management/frustration issues and lashes out without thinking, but there's not really explosive yelling. Passive aggressive anger management issues? He definitely shoved the coach. Allen owes the guy a big thanks for trying to diffuse the situation for him.

It's all very bizarre. More significant, I think, is that he had a terrible game with FSU fans booing him every time he touched the ball. Don't think he is strong emotionally (though his breakout game as a frosh in the NCAA championship would suggest he has nerves of steel). I just dont get it.

I readily admit that I have very little to offer in the way of scouting acumen, but from what I've seen of him he's an NBA player -- skilled, good size, good IQ, still room to improve. But the emotional aspect might cost him a long career or result in money left on the table after the first contract expires.

Besides being a nut job, this season has shown he really can't run the point. He is also not a knockdown shooter like Reddick. Reminds me of a more athletic Ron Baker. But Baker can play point and is emotionally stable. Don't see him getting drafted until 2nd round if at all.

I could see him biting someone.

Well he has tripped and shoved. I guess next logical step to complete the 2nd grade bullying antics would be to bite and then pull someone's hair.

Someone is going to punch his face in

He'll get his clocked cleaned when he gets to the league. But my guess is, being the protected punk that he is, he'll all of a sudden figure out how to control his behavior then.

The first trip against Louisville they actually called a foul on Louisville kid. Pitino went nuts and refs had to review before they called flagrant on Allen.

Jay Williams calls out Coach K, ACC for mishandling of Grayson Allen's suspension. http://cbsprt.co/2j0db2x

The night of the tripping incident, JayWil went real hard after both Allen and K. Kudos to him for calling out the two of them.

That no one got hurt is just luck. Some of us would quit on SJU bb if we had a player do what Allen did and only had a one game suspension. Wins do not justify dirty play

Oh I'm consistent with my teams. I am still a huge Ron artest fan. Sir dom decking someone in a game didn't deter me at all for rooting for him.

But let me guess you stopped rooting for both right? ::eye roll::

If one of our players did what Grayson did, it wouldn't be national news. Unlikely anyone would remember that it happened twice last year besides us. And we'd all support the guy.

Tripping someone is a first class pussy move. Shoving an assistant coach is a first class pussy move. Allen is a first class pussy, and I'd say the same thing about him if he played here. I might even say it about him if he were Italian:
