(Charleston Classic) Utah, Sun., Nov. 19, 5:30p, ESPN

Great win. Love to see the progress already. The team responded, twice, after being hit with runs. Defense was consistent and assertive, offense more under control.

Going 3-2 without Luis is a fine start. I do think the Dayton loss was our margin for error in the OOC schedule, so I want to win out.
Luis gives another strong scoring option and allows CRP to use Taylor is many diffrent ways.

GT with some big 3s tonight. Love his game

Excellent job, this was a must win and we got it. Most likely it'll be a Q1 win, and at worst Q2. It's been a while since we got a Q1 OOC win, and those are MASSIVE come March. Successful tournament!
Exactly how I feel. I know we all want to win every game but leaving with neutral court wins over North Texas & Utah (who both project to be decent teams) is in no way a bad outcome. Those are exactly the type of wins our resume has been lacking in recent seasons.

Shows the importance of scheduling quality MTE. 3 swings at getting a decent, non-cupcake wins. Coming out with 2 w’s is solid. Glad to see they scheduled another good one next season.

Season-saving win here. We can still afford to drop one more in the OOC.

We matchup well with slow teams. Anyone that tries to 1-3-1 us will be doing us a huge favor. That’s just begging Alleyne and Dingle to drop 20.

Jenkins was making his shots tonight but him taking 18 shots is not a winning formula. Dingle needs to be the 2023 Hardy. Get him on the ball more. He’s way too unselfish.
To be successful, both Dingle and Jenkins need to be volume shooters. The backcourt won the game today because Utah had no one capable of containing Jenkins who is the only player who can create his own shot thus far. Great tutor for Wilcher. Zuby also progressing nicely.

Disagree, thought Dingle was creating his shots tonight too, could do more of it. These players are growing, too early to define them just yet.

From Jenkins & Dingle combined:
37pnts, 15-30FGs, 13Dimes. Pretty damn nice from our guards huh?

Ledlum: had 15 & 9
Joel: 12pnts, 14, & 2 blocks
Alleyna off the bench: 10pnts, 3 dines, 1 stl

Team shot 53%, 50% from 3.
Out rebounded them by 9, on off board 12-11 in favor of us.

Pretty solid all around.

Now beat Holy Cross and improve to 4-2. Keep it going.

I disagree with Jenkins. Let him slash. He didn’t hit a three tonight and only took two from that distance instead of his usual 6.

There is a place for Jenkins to get his. He can get his shot anytime.

I thought my guy Alleyne looked fantastic tonight even outside the 2-4 from deep. Just don’t let him take meaningful dribbles.

Ledlum shot well, rebounded well and played solid D today. I know he hasn’t done well driving to the basket but if he continues to knock down threes like he did today those drives will be there because they are going to have to challenge him on the perimeter. He’s going to have to improve there. If he does , watch out.

He is a bright and articulate young man. He will learn fast what works and what doesn't at the high major level.

If you think Daniss can get his shot anytime, then you actually agree because thus far, with the ball in his hands, he is the quickest guard we have.
