100 points, 6/7 players in double figures, Mussini 5/9 from the three, Jones 11 bounds, Sima 5 blocks. Not a bad day at the office.

It takes almost twice as long to travel to Hawaii from NYC than it does to Europe. Then playing three early morning games in a row. Second half looked sluggish but so did the Hawaiians. Frankly I thought the game would be closer but it wasn't as close as the score and Amar having the game of his career (to date) was nice to see.

.Finally this is the kind of shooting we heard about Amar, got to give the kid confidence. Hopefully he'll continue to pop the three pointers when open.

Mullin is the right coach for this kid. The coach is all about instilling confidence in his shooters. The quote in the previous post on 3 point shooting says it all. We're going to see 3 point shooting which is so overdue for Johnny fans.

Walton is a clown. LOL

It was a nice two-man game between Mussini and Sima, and Walton claims it's a top 11 play in the progam's history.

Glad Yakwe is eligible. We're gonna need his hustle, rebounding, and defense. We play very, little defense.[/quote

One final positive tale for SJU praise for Slice for as Manhsttan head coach allowed a one armed big man ( name) chase his dream and make the roster.
If true quite nice!
Think Bill's story about Slice came from his cloudy memory of an episode from the Fugitive. :) (Actually do remember that player on Manhattan).
