Calling all season ticket holders

I have also emailed these clowns and let them know how I feel and I will not be renewing my two season tickets if they hire a lesser coach.

Have expressed myself to Administrstion and will not be renewing my ticket package for two. Surprise me SJ on a candidate! :)
How long are we going to take this crap before we actually do something about it? We talk the talk, but very few walk the walk. I am saying right now that if we do not hire Tim Cluess or someone of equal or greater ability, then I'm outta here. No more season tickets and no more following SJU. I'm already a Bama football fan and can easily jump on the basketball team's bandwagon, especially with Oats there. Damn I wish my duagher decided to go to Georgetown instead of GW, because I'm telling you all right now I'd become a Hoya fan. That's how pissed off I am! Just can't see myself becoming a Colonials fan. Instead of going to SJU games I'll just go to more High School games. Hell Arbitello runs a much better program at CTK then the clowns in charge of our program do, and he puts a far superior(relatively speaking) product on the court. Way more enjoyable to watch, and at a fraction of the cost.

Trying to gage how many people on this board are actually ready to join me in taking decisive action and give up thier season tickets if Jones is hired. I know Mike Maher is. Who else? Show of hands.
I am not a season tix holder but I go to games - if someone can get me the emails of the SJU president and his sidekick - and the AD - I will call and email my disgust with what they are doing!
Thanks

Someone please post the names and contact info.

I'm not a St. John''s alum, but a season ticket holder for decades. I grew up on Long Island so I root for St. John's forever. I travel about two hours to attend every home game. Until, now.

I suggest the administration hold a town hall meeting for season ticket holders. And explain themselves and the situation they have cumulatively created over the last generation. And what they are going to do about it.

Imploring All that care about this program and its future to pull ALL Donations and Cancel Season Tickets ASAP.

I have done so and as painful as this is I will not being going to a St. John's game until MASSIVE CHANGES in Leadership are made. #SupportRepole

This may be the day the St. John's Basketball program DIED!!!

What saddens me is I remember my late Father taking me to games in the early 80’s and it got me hooked on the team and the Big East. Mullin was there and i was in awe of him and the team. I remember going and the time spent with my dad as some my best sports memories.

I have a young son now and couldn’t wait to start taking him to games and get him hooked on a team coached by my idol. I will jump on the ticket bandwagon if the program gets resurrected and can sustain success for a while.

My son is not going to have the memories of St Johns basketball as a kid like I did and that is the sad part for me.

here is my follow up email to Mike Cragg:
Dear Mr. Cragg I do not envy the position you are in one bit I wanted to forward you the email I sent to the administration as a loyal Alumnus and Men's basketball season ticket holder I am disgusted so see whats going on with my beloved school. I want you to know myself and all the fans know it is not you, we think you were the best hire the school has made in a long long time but the fact that they are not butting out and letting you do your job is deplorable!! If we hire a small time coach like the rumor has it, I am sure James Jones is a nice person but he does not belong coaching this team in the Big East!! if he is indeed the hire I will not be renewing my tickets or donating any money to the school. If he is the hire we all know it means the two clowns are just being cheap and not letting you hire the right man for the job. We were a once proud school, one of the big boys, and to see the level we have sunk to is depressing. You did a great job this year getting the fans to come back out to support this team and get them excited again our attendance levels this year were awesome and instead of doing something to keep that going the powers that be are going to totally undo everything that you did and ruin us! Can they not see how big this program can be with the right coach in place, look at the turn out this year for just a decent team, imagine what it would be like if we had a really good team here. Unfortunately all we can do is imagine that because with this regime in place it will always be just a dream and never a reality. I applaud your efforts but I don't anticipate you staying here long after these clowns failed to let you do your job, I want to let you know I appreciate the job you tried to do here and hopefully you find yourself in a better situation soon, it is truly a shame because I think you could have done tremendous things for this school!!
This is great.
Maybe I can move up to seat-backs next year!
Forget that, at this rate they’ll need you on the court

I am an '85 grad and long time season ticket holder for 33 of the last 38 years( took time off during Jarvis and Norm). I love SJU! I am an avid reader of the Redmen board. It's great to be a part of the family. I enjoy watching the team from Section 3 at Carnesecca and section 107 at MSG. This search is the final straw. Everything Mike Repole said was so true. We have an AD who knows how to get this done. This is the worst search ever. We look like a bunch of idiots. I hope the Big East doesn't boot us. At the end of the day Bobby, Joe and the board have to go.
They better hope Cragg stays(which I doubt). I am out next year

This will be a difficult decision for me. It is very hard for me to give up on a program that I have supported since I was a kid. It is not easy to give up on St. John's as a school as well. It has been a great institution for so many first generation college students. I don't think I will give up my season tickets for a couple of years as I want to try and hope for the best. I love watching basketball and to me the tickets are a great value. However if we are going to have a team similar to the to the one in Mullin's first year with no hope for improvement, I will eventually check out as I did for several seasons when Norm was the coach.

Would not be shocked if our attendance is 50% of last season.

I'm going to make some calls tomorrow
Only 50%, that isn't good enough. Gotta be atleast a 75% decrease, it has to look real bad.
Then when SJU asks please fans come back we need you.
Tell them that we want to come back, but we won't until SJU cleans house and start all over, with the exception of Cragg.
Tell them that we aren't asking you, we are telling you to, without us, you aren't s*.
Agree with all, but Cragg will be long gone. I'll be shocked if he is our AD when the season starts.
I don't believe that one bit. If we clean house quickly then go up to him and say the two shit heads are gone, would you please stay. No one will get in your way again from doing your job.
He then might seriously stay.

Look at it as a sabbatical, until things are fixed around here. Not buying tickets or donating, till this ship is righted, is the only way we can send a message. Anything else is just hot air.
