Calling all season ticket holders

How long are we going to take this crap before we actually do something about it? We talk the talk, but very few walk the walk. I am saying right now that if we do not hire Tim Cluess or someone of equal or greater ability, then I'm outta here. No more season tickets and no more following SJU. I'm already a Bama football fan and can easily jump on the basketball team's bandwagon, especially with Oats there. Damn I wish my duagher decided to go to Georgetown instead of GW, because I'm telling you all right now I'd become a Hoya fan. That's how pissed off I am! Just can't see myself becoming a Colonials fan. Instead of going to SJU games I'll just go to more High School games. Hell Arbitello runs a much better program at CTK then the clowns in charge of our program do, and he puts a far superior(relatively speaking) product on the court. Way more enjoyable to watch, and at a fraction of the cost.

Trying to gage how many people on this board are actually ready to join me in taking decisive action and give up thier season tickets if Jones is hired. I know Mike Maher is. Who else? Show of hands.

I’m out if they hire someone lesser than Cluess. I’ve let Gempesaw and Oliva know my intentions earlier this afternoon. I’m 28 and have had season tickets since I was a freshman at SJU at age 17. The only power I have is to not give them my money.

If the hire is from Bobby G and Oliva instead of from Mike Cragg then I am right with you.

for SJU admin who may read this...
I will be able to find out which it is, and no i didn't need to hear Repole on the radio to figure this out.

I will also be cancelling my season tickets, and not giving my yearly donation to the Red and White club. This school doesn't deserve my hard earned money.

Not sure I would but haven't been this disgusted since they brought norm back for a 6th year. It took a lot then since I've had season tix since sophomore year.

Forget about pissing on each other over each development and disagreeable comment. This is a nightmare

I actually thought I’d trying to plan bus trips to new Rochelle to see our coach no matter where he is coaching

I am 100% with you. 100%. Fans often have "excuses" not to attend games during losing seasons. Well, next year will be one of those so don't push us over the ledge!

I supported Mullin and co. all 4 years because I bought into their vision. Mullin wasn't the ideal candidate but it still felt like the school gave a damn. I will absolutely not buy into the forced vision of James Jones or someone similar. If Cragg doesn't get his say I will not buy a single ticket next year. Cluess is a full week overdue!

Think about this folks..how much friggin research did Adam and I pore through trying to figure a path into the tournament field last month. resume after resume. Quad 1, Quad 2, Quad 1+2 records. Road record, neutral courts. I've never met him, but I know that he bleeds St.John's red as much as I do. And yet, here we are...both on record as saying we are done until thee is a change in leadership. That should speak volumes. I've met a lot of great people on this board. You are all as nuts as I am about this basketball program. And, we are all sick to our stomach today about what has transpired. Move over James Dolan. Move over Jeff Wilpon. Make room for Bobby and Joe.

In addition to cancelling season tickets and ending donations, it is time to call, email, tweet Gempesaw and Olivia to rail about this insult.
And it is time to let Mike Cragg know we’re on his side.
If this holds, it may be the end of St. John’s in the Big East.

CD they are either clueless to our feelings about the state of affairs, or flat out don’t get an F. Expecially since they assume we’re suckers who will remain as fans regardless of how bad the program is. I’m not saying that it’ll hurt to email them, but my feeling is that the only way they’ll take real notice is when there are fewer donations and way more empty seats at CA and MSG

Forget about it being a protest. I'm just disgusted and have little interest in watching a bad team not coached by cluess or a homerun hire.

Would not be shocked if our attendance is 50% of last season.

I'm going to make some calls tomorrow

I'm out also guys. Went to the whole season with my sons and Sal. Even took the trip to miami. Next year not one game if this is the result. We had AMAZING attendance this season. All to watch it go to S*&^.

Only 50%, that isn't good enough. Gotta be atleast a 75% decrease, it has to look real bad.
Then when SJU asks please fans come back we need you.
Tell them that we want to come back, but we won't until SJU cleans house and start all over, with the exception of Cragg.
Tell them that we aren't asking you, we are telling you to, without us, you aren't s*.

It's amazing how 2 men, 2 pos low lifes could ruin what we love and enjoy.
Ruin our BBall program, if they kill this very historic program over the next 5 years, would it ever come back?

I've already emailed "Bobby", Joe Oliva and Cragg. I said if anyone but Cluess, Pitino or someone with a resume befitting of coaching a historic program like SJU is hired I am cancelling seasons tickets, and halting any further donations to the school. I plead with all the rest of you guys to do the same. In the end it may do nothing, and these morons will do as they want, but if enough people cancel their season tickets and don't give any more money they may finally get the message.

Agree with all, but Cragg will be long gone. I'll be shocked if he is our AD when the season starts.

I think he goes home Memorial Day weekend and never sets foot on campus again.

What if for some malicious reason they want to destroy sju bball, then they won't care if no one donates.
