C 7 shines today

I know this idea wouldn't be beneficial financially but why not play CUSE or the other defectors at Carnesseca if they really want to keep the rivalry going like they say. It would make for a real home court advantage. The place would be packed to the rafters.

Because more $$$ can be generated at MSG.

College athletics is a business.

I never want to see Cuse nor their fans set foot in MSG again. But it is what it is.

We just have to rally our fan base and pack the Garden like never before. If there's one game you go to, let it be the Cuse game. Let us treat them like Duke when they come to the Garden and send them back to Canada (upstate NY) knowing who the real NY's team is. Wipe the floor with them and show no remorse.

Syracuse is a high profile program . Helps our SOS and is good rivalry. I also believe starting next year we will finally be able to compete w them. A win at MSG against them would be so sweat.

It's a conundrum why DePaul has struggled in the BE. Many have commented that Chicago kids want to go elsewhere to play and that may be true. Chicago, while a great, great city, has the nation's highest Murder RATE.. Mostly in the SOUTH SIDE OF TOWN, where a lot of kids who play BB are from. I'm sure players who have college level BB skills are eager to get out of town and, their parents probably encourage them to do so.

DePAUL has a great history of BB success but, not lately. Purnell has a record of being a good Coach BUT, NOT A GREAT COACH.. Do kids who harbor NBA dreams want to play for him? I don't know..He doesn't appear to have the charisma that Lavin has for example.

Maybe asking a Chicago kid like Phil Greene why he didn't choose DepAUL WOULD BE A REVELATION?
