I check out this forum once in awhile but never joined. My first time posting. But just a heads up that code REDSTORM should work for any of the upcoming games at The Garden through the Ticketmaster website. I already bought the weekend package from the school. I'm in the upper deck center court since I went with the lower priced package.

Tickets cost me $30 through the school. With the code they would have cost me $26.50 and I would be a section or 2 over and a few rows further back. But the code saves you a lot if you want lower seats they are around $44.50 a piece vs $77. Ticketmaster make their money on $12 a ticket no matter what.

The tickets are $44.50 including the $12 surcharge with the code. I checked all 3 Garden games that are left. UConn was section 101 behind the basketball. Pitt and Marquette were section 120 in the corner. If you want the more in the center then the next price level tickets are in section 210 from what I have checked. 8-12 rows up. I'm in section 211 which is center court for my weekend package. It feels a little high up at first. It was a new look for me since the Garden is only 2 levels now. But you can see everything and its a pretty good vantage point. The tickets up the 200's are $26.50 after surcharge with the code.
 
From having watched a few games a the new Garden, I think that center court in the 200 level is a better seat than behind the basket in the 100s and at a cheaper price.

Are the student tickets for SJU students only? I know it used to be open to students form any school as long as you had a college ID, but i thought they changed that.
 
$10 for student tickets to MSG games. $4.50 for round trip on bus/subway. $12.50 round trip from Jamaica LIRR station. Eat before you go inside. It should be manageable to go to a few games a year.

Only SJ students.

The other good one I love is the mystery of the 'season ticket holder gift'. No communication about it. You only hear thru the grapevine that there is a gift. And then you have to pick it up. DURING a game. I don't want to hold anything during a game. Nobody there after the game either. Is it such a difficult thing to ship the damn thing?

The plastic license plate holder? I'll give you mine. and as a season ticket holder this does bother me slightly but it will really tick me off if they're getting tickets below me.

I don't even know what it is. To be honest I've had tickets for a decade and I might have got 2 gifts. And they were so unrecognizable I don't even remember what they were. Some things it seems will never grow out of mom and pop stage. But those checks in September sure look nice from all the poor schlubs who send in their season ticket money.

* And I also want the Garden packed. And on the surface 1/2 price or BOGO deals might sound nice. But also opens up gate for a Hall fan to get a nice deal. Its a double edge sword.
