@Butler, Wed., Feb. 28, 8:30p, CBSSN

Who are you calling old??? Now get off my lawn!!!! 😜
Personally, despite all the statistics, I believe that we are better off with Jenkins than Posh and that Posh is probably better off at Butler. However, I am not about to denigrate either player; I think have both been very valuable to their teams this year and I expect both coaches would agree vehemently.

SLY, Posh was more than a crowd pleaser, he was very good for us two of the three years he played here and of course fans appreciate that he stayed home and committed to the school and didn't listen to those who were undoubtedly in his ear to transfer after his superior freshman year.

Will always wish him the best except for Wednesday when I hope he and his teammates all have subpar games!.
Even more impressive, he managed to make his (funny) points in under 1,000 words.

I may just refer to Lawmanfan as “≤ 1,000.”
Post Script: I hope I successfully passed third grade math with the less than/greater than sign.
. Funny you should mention that …. It’s on the TikTok that the DOE just did a Audit of your School’s 3 rd grade Report Card and , there is a mistake . You didn’t pass the Math class
They want you back for a retake .
All of your credentials , drivers license , voter registration are in jeopardy .

My only fear is the match ups off the press
Creighton is slower than most teams and did not attack our press in either game at the level of other teams.
Other teams that were faster killed us in the 2nd half with layups and foul shots. If Posh pushes the tempo we have to get back
—-No layups and no fouls —-
I wish we would not press after the first 16 minutes. Hoping for the best !!!

Dingle promising to step up and change his thinking:

The great Texas songwriter Guy Clark has a line in his song “Dublin Blues” that goes “I’ll stand up and be counted and face up to the truth”;
just what Dingle has done, nothing but admiration for the man.

Great respect for this kid. In a day and age where being accountable is a rare virtue, not only does he hold himself accountable but he is now performing. Hopefully he is peaking at just the exact time that we can REALLY, REALLY, REALLY use it. Will gladly take 20 points from him tonight. He may very well be the piece that helps us get 5 more wins by Selection Sunday.

There could be no bigger impact at this juncture but for him to be a consistent mid range scorer for 12-15 a game (plus Soriano reverting to form),.

I agree. We press too much and it quite often hurts us, especially during the final 24 minutes of the game. This is a legit critique of mistakes that Coach has made so far.

We never get back. It comes down to who wants to hammer that weakness. It’s been there all year for the opposition.

Tonight is a season defining game and the reason Rick is here, the reason he turned over a 7-13 roster, the reason a bunch of kids turned down better offers from more successful programs.

Right now there are three teams vying for 5th place - us, Nova, and Providence. We can't worry about that right now.

It took an entire season for Rick to find this rotation, to still be a good team when Joel isn't going 20/12, to see the Dingle we all expected, for Wilcher to play like a kid with real upside, for this to clearly be Jenkin's team.

Don't under estimate Rick's preparation for this game, and he may tweak the lineup again. Taylor played a key role Sunday with 10 rebounds and solid D, but while we were critical of Luis' 1-6 shooting, Taylor was 2-6. Don't be surprised if Rick shuffles the deck to create better matchups. Don't be surprised if Ledlum steps up and provides more than his meat and potatoes board work and hard nosed play. Alleyne may provide the lift that helped carry UCONN to a championship. Zuby is dying to show he is our center of the future.

Essentially comes down to a one game season with 3 to go. Rick recruited players he assessed as PHD. Tonight 6 seniors are playing to keep the curtain from going down.

I like our chances.
But I worry about Posh deciding that defense is a true religion and disrupting all flow on offense for us.
