Need to stop the bleeding with a win tonight
Here's the dilemma......do you root for the team to win, stop the bleeding and give Anderson a life, which with a large buy out clause may be just what the braintrust need to justify keeping him on another year. Or do you root for the team not to win so that Cragg and Shanley have no choice but to let him go since no miracle turn arounds are coming this year or next.

Someone asked me this question earlier today and its a tough question. Ya never want the kids to lose but what may be better for all in the long run?

I think I know where you stand 😇

Need some Ws to keep CMA’s winning season intact

I love your ”optimism” NC. However, when I watch games I truly don’t believe this team has a “practice”. Practices aren’t roll the ball out and have a scrimmage game. D1 practices would normally include “stations” and “drills”. Then after that I would suspect they run through offensive and defensive “sets”.

From watching games I am having a hard time seeing any proof this is happening. I am not joking. Do we see a “set” offense? Inbound plays? Hell, shooting drills? I know I am being a little over the top here but can you imagine watching the “game film”? You can see the conversation with Coach MA and the assistants. “Guys what do we need to focus on”? ANSWER: EVERYTHING.
I say this every time I watch a game - what do these guys do in practice for two hours every day? We have very little half-court offense, except for the weave and swinging the ball around the perimeter to players who cannot shoot from out there. We don't even do a pick a roll or a pick and pop very often. We have zero offense against a zone. Our vaunted press is non-existent. On defense, our rotations are bad.

What do we do in practice?

I was thinking the same thing . From what I know , CTK ain’t chopped liver in BB . Does this mean Boeheim will Coach another 10 years in order to Coach this kid ??

A quick point on Anthony. He is immediately eligible to play for Lutheran who are not affiliated with any NY schools or rules athletically. They play in a new national super conference against the best teams in the nation including Oak Hill, Monteverde and IMG amongst others. He doesn't lose any playing time by transferring mid season.

I don't root for the coach--I vote for the players all the time. They represent the school and could be our fellow alumni some day.

And to think our atrocious first half of BE season included home games vs the bottom 3 BE teams.

I thought I read yesterday that Buck said he would not play this year . . .

I'm glad we played UCONN when we did. They were in a slight disarray at the time. They are beating up on a very good Marquette team right now and look like a tournament team.
