@Butler, Tue., Feb. 7, 8:30p, FS-1

With our luck, we'll run the table in the Big East tournament.
Up 66-61 3:17 left, timeout with the ball.
Of course we lose on 7-0 run to end game.
Staff and players just can’t close.
We're a very creative team. We find new ways to lose every game

If my team blew this game after the season we’ve had, I’d tender my resignation. I’ve made enough money, I couldn’t live with myself if this is how my team played.

Best shot Joel took tonight of course doesn’t count. He seems to be just throwing the ball up their the last few games and short arming the jumpers he was making earlier this season.

Bad Dylan decided to show up, driving into the lane and getting blocked or locked up.

Let them hang around and the inevitable occurred.

Truly pathetic.

Anderson is the worst strategist and in game coach ever! His time can end now. I have never felt that a coach should be let go as much other the Joe Judge he was up there as worst coach!

Maybe we all get lucky and CMA decides to protect his streak by retiring with the team a game over 500 due to an itchy but unconfirmed case of athlete's foot.

Despite the last play controversy you just can't go the last 3:50 seconds without scoring. They should not have lost this game but their half court offense was terrible down the stretch. Soriano scored on a dunk at the 3:50 mark to put SJU up 66 to 61. After that, over their last seven possessions, Soriano missed three shots, Curbelo missed one, Pinzon missed one, Posh turned the ball over once and of course they were unable to get the shot off before the clock ran out on the last play. This was simply a terrible end game and snatched a road victory away against a pretty weak Butler team.

Real quote from CMA?!! He should be saying “We had control of the game, failed to tack onto the lead. You don‘t win when you dont do that”
