WHY TONY? i see a team getting their ASS kicked by a team that is better Coached, BETTER DEFENSE, BETTER EVERYTHING.

Our players, none of whom will be back, nor will this Coach, won't look upon BUTLER as anymore than a BE rival.

I wonder if Lavin has an embarrassment gene in his quiver? He makes $2 million a year and is easily the worst COACH IN THE LEAGUE and has been from day 1! For whatever reasons, this Group of players under this Coach have never won a crucial game in 4 years. And, the Players are frustrated in this game because they are being beaten to a pulp.

Why did Pointer let JONES go coast to coast when he had defensive position for a charge? It was a crucial non stop.

pay attention, Jones moved to the right to avoid charging and Dom could not challenge or he may foul out. It was a good play that happens when you press and don't get the turnover.
 
I think what bothers me most, is not that were going to the NIT again but that we won't come together and make a run in that tournament.
No confidence that this team can play consistently for any decent stretch of time.
 
As I stated earlier today this wasn't must win but now we must win all remaining home games, awayMarquette game and one of the Xavier/gt/nova road games.

Room for error getting narrower and narrower.....

So this is an honest question to everyone....and I would like an honest answer

How come when Lavin makes a dumb decision, or Branch or someone else makes a dumb play....everyone on here jumps all over them and criticizes them to no end.

But when Harrison makes a dumb play, like he did in picking up his 5th foul....no one says anything? It's like he is better than everyone else, and is above everyone's criticism.
 
Been saying it for a couple of weeks now. Our players just aren't that good. All this talk about best back court in the country was garbage. I cannot believe they believed that themselves. Lavin has fault in this but, these guys are not that GOOD
