So what you are saying we lose to Duke by 40lol
We lost 10
Straight and then ripped Duke and Nova. Our play right now doesn’t mean much unless we don’t improve. Need to do it fast. A win is still a win though...

You really are reaching tonight.

Impressed with that BG squad. They were 16-10 at one point last year and that was with Frye as a freshman (all MAC rookie team). They will win 20 IMO and I wouldn't be shocked if they stole one from Buffalo. That kid Turner would be in every rotation in the conference and would start for at least half the league. He's legit.

Some great lessons from tonight. We saw almost an entire game of Clark, Heron, and Simon on a legit big man who is an NBA prospect. That is a glimpse of our March. I was impressed with all three on him. Heron was throwing him around and he was 6'10 240!

Simon had back to back strong post ups for easy points. He's moving closer the the PF role I want for him. He's just an inferior option on the perimeter to Heron and Dixon. He's so dangerous 12 feet and in.

Very happy these guys had to grit it out instead of winning by 30.
You honestly believe KY is not 6 points better than us?
Nope... they were losing all game to southern Illinois too. We sucked today, but they’ve been worse.

Not a lot of positives to take from tonight's other than the win, which is big. Rebounding, foul shooting and perimeter defense all bad. Dixon has talent on offense, but unless his defense improves Trimble will get a lot of his minutes. We need Keita to show us what he can do against Rutgers. Clark played well, but he can't be our only big. At least we didn't lose.

My point is we aren’t now who we will be after the new year. Not even close. That’s not a reach at all...
The next three games should tell us how this season will go.
Actually, the next three games will tell us how the next three games go. I think I'll wait a little longer to pass judgement on how much this team can improve.

My point is the next 3 games are against teams which figure to be a lot better than the first two teams we've played.

Its early but not sure any of the deficiencies are really correctable. Lack of size is a HUGE problem.

And for the record Southern Illinois is better on paper than Bowling Green. And UK gave up 59 points, SJU gave up 80 to a team picked last in the MAC.

peter Kiss, Rutgers transfer from Quinnipiac, gave them 17 points and 4 assists tonight. Rutgers also had 12 blocked shots. We better be ready as they will not be the least bit easy.

A lot of heat from everyone on the coaching staff. I don't want to follow suit, but if this staff squanders one of the best backcourts in the country, then someone needs to buy a "Coaching For Idiots" book and start over.
Rutgers beat FDU 90-55
I think Steve Pikiell, Associate HC Karl Hobbs and Assistant Coach Brandin Knight along with Director of Player Development Greg Vetrone will watch this game, figure out a game plan and dominate us inside.  If Ponds and Simon continue to play with their heads up their asses I don't see us pulling out a win if Keita is out.  Lack of size became painfully obvious against Bowling Green.

2-0 start I’m not going to nitpick on how it went down when our lone big got hurt right after tip which left us severely undersized. Actually thought the defensive rebounding was a strength despite that size disadvantage. Lots to work on.

Rutgers picked to finish last in the B10.

Don't want hear about how improved they are or playing at the RAC being difficult. Need to win and quite frankly win convincingly. Remember SJU should be insulted they were given the pre-season last place team in the B10 challenge. They are considered a top tier BE team this year they should have gotten a Purdue or Indiana or even Nebraska again.

Anyone who thinks this year will be any different from the previous three doesn't understand the game. Mullin is clueless.
